Monitor, in conjunction with the Department of Health, held a joint event for the NHS to gain a better understanding of NHS transactions and the opportunities they can offer.
The event attempted to clarify myths around NHS transactions by setting out the policy and regulatory framework for acquisitions and franchises in the NHS. We hope to generate solutions to some of the real issues the NHS is facing.
The conference took place on Thursday 4 June 2009 at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London.
